Contemporary Art piece created with Soft Pastel and hints of Acrylic gold. When the light hits this artwork at the right angle it sings with glimmering gold.
When I was solo travelling around Greece, I explored Mykonos old town. I had an overwhelming sense the locals had such a passion for life - happy to just be. No pressure to do anything or go anywhere. Happy to be exactly where they were in the
moment. It felt like literal 'Heaven on earth', a piece of paradise. Hence the Birds of Paradise plant in the foreground.
Mind set is a huge part of life. We don't experience life from the outside. We experience it all through what is happening with in us. 'Eunoia' in Greek means to have a pure, well-balanced mind or "beautiful thinking". A lot of us are prone to overthinking. Filling our minds with catastrophes and fear: Observing a place where everything is slower and more in touch with nature, reminds us of our natural state.
Created with an array of Pastels and Acrylic gold, highlighting areas like the sun shining down on the beautiful moment.

How I Create
I absolutely love creating all sorts of pieces in various sizes and scales. My primary medium is pastel, as it offers a satisfying and vibrant quality that allows me to truly experiment with colour. The richness and versatility of pastels make it a joy to work with, offering endless possibilities for blending and expression.
Having a clean and organised studio helps me clear my mind, allowing me to focus entirely on the art I'm creating. I strive to work without judgment, letting the creative process flow naturally. I often don’t know what the final result will look like, and not every piece turns out as planned. But when it does come together, I then move on to choosing how I will present the work.

Finishing The Design and Frames
Framing or choosing not to frame a piece is just as integral to the creative process as the artwork itself. It’s like writing a story and then deciding how to bring it to a close. The decision really depends on the piece I’ve created—whether it’s bold and vibrant, simple or intricate, large or small—all of these factors influence how I approach the framing.
Once a piece is sold, I make sure it is carefully handled and packaged to ensure it arrives safely to the buyer. I am always deeply grateful to those who support my art and contribute to its journey.
